Keep Starlink out.

Imagine paying your internet bill on time, only to discover your connection also needs good relations with Washington. India’s connectivity should never depend on another country’s approval.

For example, when Visa and Mastercard suspended operations in Russia following its invasion of Ukraine, Russian-issued cards stopped working abroad. Domestic payments survived because Russia had its own infrastructure.

That’s the concern with Starlink: foreign control over connectivity, questions about data privacy, and dependence that becomes expensive to undo. While the company claims to be independent, what happens when Washington demands otherwise?

India should keep it out unless those risks are addressed. “Terms and conditions apply” is fine for a discount coupon. Less reassuring for national sovereignty.

@Dig_raw21 They praise usa in rights and freedom fo speech, cops in usa would have put them all in body bags before he could even lunge at them

There is a reason sat phones are banned( read regulated) in india. Sat bases internet services will have the same issues here. Even if the government allows starlink to operate on india soil, that would be the primary weapon for anarchy. Demons that the government buried in last 10 years, would come alive.

In a structural reform to supercharge supply chains and support 7%–8% GDP growth, the Union Cabinet chaired by PM Narendra Modi has cleared the creation of a national apex body: the Integrated Transport and Logistics Authority (ITLA):

🏛️ Apex National Planning Institution:

🔸Housed under the DPIIT (Ministry of Commerce & Industry), bringing together all major infrastructure ministries—Railways, MoRTH, Ports/Shipping, and Civil Aviation—under a single unified umbrella.

🔸Follows and enhances the PM GatiShakti framework, bridging Centre-State planning for 10-, 15-, and 30-year infrastructure master plans.

📈 The 10% Logistics Multiplier:

🔸 Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw explained that an economy expanding at 7%–8% demands a ~10% annual increase in logistics capacity.

🔸The Authority will coordinate long-term demand mapping so transport infrastructure is prepared a decade in advance.

💻 Big Data-Driven Technical Appraisals:

🔸Streamlines project approvals (new rail lines, lane expansions, ports, expressways) via centralized technical appraisals.

🔸Leverages live big data streams—FASTag toll records, GST e-way bills, and Railway Receipts (RR slips)—to track passenger and cargo freight corridors in real time.

🔸Conducts comprehensive post-commissioning economic impact assessments on completed mega projects.

That was exactly my concern, it is either painted or polished really well. But for a car in india to be driven for almost 9 lakh km, it means almost everything in the engine compartment must have been changed yet the the car looks so pristine. It is either a different car or this could be literally be one of the finest examples of car maintainance

Prakhar on Sadhguru and Osho:

“When Sadhguru is gone, you’ll praise him the same way you praise Osho today. When Osho was alive, you abused him too.

People can’t stand seeing a living person happy. Once they’re gone, the same person suddenly becomes a legend.”
