The mind of an American normie is fascinating to see in action.

They presume that, if you speak English and have Internet access, then you must care about Western (read: American) civil rights canon.

Why wouldn't you? That goes without saying.

And, if you don't, then you must literally be Hitler (not even hyperbole, there are alleged human beings saying this in the quotes and replies to OP).

The American normie is conditioned to defend and uphold, without even realising it, the virtue and sanctity of any corporation that claims to represent their values and/or makes a product that they consume.

Not once does the American normie think to question the absurdity of their own arguments in defending Mojang's cynical corporate facade of social awareness against the reasoned apathy of someone who comes from a completely different social context and reality.

What does a non-white person living in the third world have to gain from being taught whitewashed (pun intended) lessons about American civil rights canon? What do they have to gain from knowing who Rosa Parks was? Or MLK? Or Nelson Mandela?

Will it reform their governments? Will it make their streets safer? Will it increase their buying power?

No?

Then why should they care?

The irony of a first world 'advocate' for "civil rights" telling a third worlder they are "against learning" (brutish), and that they resist "becoming more intelligent" (stupid), simply because they don't care for the same political theatre that defines the American normie's bizarre brand of national shame and pride being pushed into a game for kids is not lost on any of us either.

And, let's say (for argument) that a child were to be taught how influential and important and sacred the civil rights movement in West is by Minecraft (of all things).

Let's say that it is a good idea for a child to 'learn' about civil rights in a game that cannot show violence, gore or political intrigue in grotesque detail by virtue of being made for kids.

Let's say that a child were to be taught by their funny block game that the West was put far ahead of its peers, and was made prosperous by its progressive commitment to upholding civil rights and baking this commitment into every part of modern society.

And let's say that, years later, this child grows up to realise that they are condemned to live the rest of their life as a rent-slave; that they were tricked into getting tens of thousands in debt to the government for an education that had no translatable value in their job market; and they must now also forfeit (on top of the debt they owe) half their meagre paycheck to said government - which is run by a cabal of satanic pedophiles and has been for who-knows how long.

What rational conclusion would they have left to them besides that "civil rights" - this bastion of virtue and social good - has failed, or that it was always a lie from the beginning?

Is this really what you want for the kids and values you claim to care about so much?

The American normie doesn't know; they stopped reading several paragraphs ago.

My account @Miooooooorin was hacked on August 4.
The attacker changed the email, phone, password, and enabled 2FA, locking me out. I’ve contacted support repeatedly and only got automated replies. I urgently need human help.

and maybe that triggered some kind of temporary flag.

But a few hours later, I got tagged in a thread from a crypto account full of bots, claiming I had hacked their account and that Twitter gave it back to them. +

A few hours after that thread, Twitter suspended me for “impersonation”.

Honestly, I have no idea what’s going on. It could be the similar handle, the fact that it was a brand new account, a wave of bot reports, or some mix of all of that. I really don’t know.

I’m not sure if this happened because I picked a handle that was too similar to the hacked account, but it's weird that just a couple of hours after creating my account, a bot-filled thread popped up accusing me of being the hacker and tagging my new handle, not the old one. +

I've been reporting my hacked acc and contacting support for 21 days: nothing. I create a new acc, and within hours, a crypto bro (idk if he's a bot or not) makes a thread mentioning my new @, claiming I tried to hack him. And a few hours later: acc suspended for impersonation.
