Today, we joined @UgandaCenter and fellow stakeholders in Mbarara City for the #WeHerProject Capacity Building Workshop focused on strengthening organizational governance, safeguarding, and strategic direction.
The workshop provided a valuable platform to review and validate key governance and safeguarding policies, while also contributing to the development of WE-HER’s Strategic Plan (2026–2030).
These discussions are critical in building stronger, accountable institutions that advance women’s leadership, protect children and promote social justice.
We commend WE-HER and Freedom Centre Uganda for creating spaces that foster collaboration, learning and collective action towards an inclusive society where women and girls thrive with dignity, freedom and leadership.

As we conclude the WE-HER Project Capacity Building Workshop, we celebrate a day of learning, collaboration and renewed commitment to advancing women’s leadership, safeguarding, good governance and social justice.
The journey continues.

A heartfelt appreciation to Humanists International for selecting @UgandaCenter among the 13 grantees in the 2026 Grants Program.
This support strengthens our commitment to human rights advocacy. We are honored, energized, and ready to deepen impact in our communities.
Our #EYDCD program’s bi-annual workshop in Isingiro was a major success! We covered essential ground on product marketing, market linkages and the legalities of forming a business.
The highlight, however, was the plenary session where beneficiaries shared their success stories. It is incredible to see the tangible progress we are making with the youth of Isingiro District especially women and young girls.
