Just thought I'd share with you something we've been discussing at TFMR for the past few days.
If you're a Bank Monkey, you want to place the gold price right at/near the 50-day moving average going in to tomorrow's CPI.
That way, IF the DXY catches any sort of bid after the report, you can slam price and bring about a liquidation of some short-term Spec longs.
As that happens, you can profitably cover a great deal of the shorts you added back in December. You'll also have skillfully painted a double top on the chart, opening up the possibility of a further drop to $1960-1980, which would allow to to cover even more shorts.
This is how The Bullion Banks regularly operate.
