It’s hard to build !
It’s easy to destroy !
This is the main reason why it’s easier for me to "want to" SHORT an asset.

So how do I balance this psychological bias which is, actually, flawed ?

MARKET STRUCTURE !

This shows you the behavioral/psychological pattern of buyers and sellers during a trading session … and this can be observed on a trading chart :

- Let’s you know who is in control of the market :

1. Buyers in control - bullish(uptrend).
2. Sellers in control - bearish(downtrend).
3. Battle for control - Ranging.

- Let’s you know how the market reacts to news, real life events, etc.

- A whole lot more!

NOW :
Having a good understanding of the MARKET STRUCTURE would help shape your bias moderately as to what you should look for in a trading session.

Most importantly it helps one have a balanced trading pattern:
a. short when you need to short.
b. long when you need to long.
c. stay off the market when there is nothing to do.
