With Ekwensu, the deity of war, fighting alongside them, he was invincible but struck with cunning precision as they launched fierce guerrilla attacks.

Through bravery and resilience, they won many battles against British forces.

Later, the British returned with massive forces and superior firepower, overpowering the Igbo’s after 31 years of resistance.
The Igbo’s were the last region to be captured showing remarkable courage ✊🏽
