@clanrocks1997@HanClanSolo77 That’s pretty stalking behaviour. Imagine you going past just at that exact time. And credit - are you a pro photographer ffs 🙄
@scorer40@HanClanSolo77@downie_set18686 Example in October Sheffield have 13 days with events including 6 Steelers games. The Hydro has 22 days of events with no hockey.
@scorer40@HanClanSolo77@downie_set18686 Agree, you won’t get near 2,500, I’d expect more. It’s not really being done for financial benefit tbh, it’s looking to the future. Watch the promotion of it, it will be mega. This is all about attraction curious new spectators.
@abbeybrysonx Completely wrong. It’s easy to get to and many more Fife and Dundee and Belfast fans will want to see what it’s like at such an iconic venue. But it’s more than just current fans it’s about the vast local population who aren’t already into hockey.
@scorer40@HanClanSolo77@downie_set18686 Disagree. The set up costs wouldn’t be worth it. Having the Hydro hosting three games and using the ice for skating and other ice events over Xmas and New Year is a great initiative.
@abbeybrysonx You are not thinking this out. This is a major attempt at selling the sport. They will promote the shit out of it and aim to attract non hockey fans over the three games. It’s an exciting initiative looking at the longer game.
