@TakesOnSport He would be a good fit for us. Think he could play immediately. Elite shooter, spaces floor, and thrives off-ball. Good replacement for Joe or Wiggs.
@Drivingthepaint I like Yaxel a lot and think he’s the most realistic option there. I don’t love Karim. I’m coming around to Allen Graves like what I’ve seen so far
I asked Sam Presti about the physicality of the playoffs, specifically the West Finals. I mentioned the Plumlee hit on McCain and Carter Bryant fouls on SGA.
"You didn't hear us complaining. We're not complaining. We just want to know what the rules are. And we'll play by them."
Presti reminds fans that they are the 5th youngest team in the NBA and the teams younger than them averaged 28 wins last last season.
Illustrating the great position the Thunder are in moving forward
Sam Presti: "The history of the league, I don't think there's any team that's missed core players and were able to make it through."
He mentions not being able to make it out of the 2nd round in 2013 due to the Russell Westbrook injury.
Sam Presti on Chet Holmgren: "Chet's one of our guys. He's been impactful. He drives winning for us on so many levels."
Presti says a big reason why OKC got to the WCF was due to Chet.
"He didn't have a great series in the last series. But if you go back and look at some of the greatest players in the game, they run into defeat and struggle... that's what makes them great players."
"This is a guy that is intrinsically motivated."
"I'm confident that he'll be ready to go."
