Thoughts on LenaMiu in Paris Day 1:

I loved writing these reflections when they went to Paris in March, and here’s what I want to say about their first day this time.

This time felt like they never left Paris. It feels like Paris paused and waited for them to finish their story. Going back to a Parisian cafe, just the two of them, is truly reminiscent of the moments in Paris that started it all.

I believe this is why the captions “art, lunch you” and “you, me, somewhere in Paris” read a different story altogether. It reads that Paris never left them, because it is where their lives changed and it all started with “you”. I think this is why they constantly call each other “you” because “you” captures all that they want to say. “You” is where it began, where it continues, and where it will always be.

Paris will always have a special place in my heart because Paris is where LenaMiu’s story, beyond Asia began. For Chanel to invite LenaMiu back again in Paris, for Spring Summer 2027 show tells that LenaMiu fits Chanel. I will always be thankful to Chanel for providing the opportunity and seeing LenaMiu’s potential. Proud is a feeling and word that will always be understated, but for now, will do.
