👀 The Combat Veteran News (CVN) Team and Ukraine Aid Operations are teaming up again — and this time we're zeroing in on something Paul has been covering more and more on the CVN channel: the units doing some of the most innovative and dangerous drone work on the entire front. Over the last year, Ukraine has built entirely new formations around unmanned warfare —  Unmanned Systems Battalions, like "Sapsan", "Raid" or "Aeron". These guys are writing the playbook for robotic ground combat as well as mid- and long-range strike in real time, often funding critical gear out of their own pockets while delivering some of the most consequential blows deep behind Russian lines. They are, quite literally, the future of this war — and they're doing it with the support from all over the world.

🇺🇦 Our campaign focuses primarily on the Unmanned Systems Battalions that currently dominate the battlefield so much. In particular, we aim to support these units:
- 1st Unmanned Systems Center
- 9th Unmanned Systems Brigade
- 413th Unmanned Systems Regiment
- 421th Unmanned Systems Battalion
- 435th Unmanned Systems Division
- Other drone units

🚁 We want to make the biggest possible impact on the battlefield. We aim to achieve this by applying these key equipment piece:
- Ground drones (UGVs) that resupply forward positions and evacuate wounded across fields no truck or pickup can survive
- Heavy-lift transport drones for the "last mile" — moving ammo, supplies, and "Vampire" drone batteries to the line without a single soldier on the road
- Mid-range drone components for the units reaching deep into occupied territory
- Support and energy equipment supporting our drone units

🛞100 Ground Drones Achieved❤️‍🔥

In March 2026, we launched a fundraiser side-by-side with Dutch foundation VVO Diel for an ambitious goal: fund 100 ground drones to make a major impact on frontline logistics and casualty evacuation in Ukraine.

With support from @AnnaFromUA_YT , Operator Starsky, Tom Lassing, Joris Luyendijk, @prestonstew_ , and Combat Veteran News, we set out to raise $750,000.

Thanks to incredible support—including major contributions from an anonymous fund, Dura Vermeer, and a $50,000 donation made in memory of US volunteer Joseph Bank, who fought for Ukraine for years—we've now reached that goal.

We have placed orders for approx half of the fund. We want to keep some flexibility to try out new drones besides the famous Targan, also because producers in general can't keep up with demand. Still, every month, every week, new drones are rolling in which we quickly deliver. Among the receivers so far are 25th, Achilles, 42nd, Khartiia, Rubizh, Omega, Marines and many others. Many more will follow in the months ahead.
Donations are still welcome. Partly because there will be an ongoing demand for ground drones for the foreseable future. Secondly, because we actually plan to buy some bigger platforms which will be more expensive as the Targans we budgetted for.

UAO just made a delivery with Interceptor drones „Barrier“ to defend Ukraine’s sky❤️‍🔥

The delivery was made to the famous Kherson Anti-aircraft brigade which defends Ukrainian soil against the attacks from the Crimea and Azov sea area👍🏻

Ukraine Aid Operations always receives more requests for help than we can deliver. That means we often need to limit what we can provide.

Need 3 reconnaissance drones? Thermal ones? Sorry — we can only give 1 at the moment.

That’s why we were ecstatic when the Dutch Fund Project Ukraine stepped in 🇳🇱🤝🇺🇦

They had just stocked up on thermal recon drones and gave us the opportunity to close several outstanding requests. From this stock, we were able to deliver:
