@bethanyshondark I've bad news for most y'alls high horse. If you get a tax refund every year (79% of America), you're in a "negative tax bracket". You don't "pay taxes". You're getting welfare. STFU about SNAP. Fix the cause, not a symptom.
@TaraBull808 The person with foodstamps is buying for a month. If you're making minimum wage, you'd die without foodstamps. People need to bitch about FIXING SOME SHIT, before you wine & cry someone received assistance.
So. I had a stroke. Well wishes, prayer, mystical positive juju & cash are all appreciated ๐. I think I'll be okay, no immediate known permanent damage. Hope to be back to "normal" soon.
@roguecaliber Mystara is the defacto implied D&D setting (in my mind) unless explicitly stated otherwise. I don't care for all these new fangled worlds like Forbidden Realms, Grayhulk, Dragging Lance etc that all these younguns are playing.
@KennethStAndre1 Holy Cow. The auto success is accurate; but the auto fail is insane high. 32.77% of NO doubles or triples on the same roll. That's obviously too high. The odds of a Straight are 1 in 1296, which while low, may be more appropriate for an auto fail.
@KennethStAndre1 Attributes would give a bonus. A DEX if 50 (thru 59) would give a plus 5 bonus. Kinda like figuring Levels. AI says a full house is 1.15%, I certainly didnt figure that myself lol. My math ain't my strongest skill. ๐ค
@KennethStAndre1 A full house on 5d6 is 1.15%. ๐
It really does work out well. Play around with it, you'll come around ๐ ....
In any event, I appreciate your consideration. Thanks for all your great work.
@KennethStAndre1 SR Level = x10 (L1=10, L2=20, L3=30 etc)
Bonus= 1/10 Relevant Attribute (drop remainders)
Add Bonus+5d6 to beat
Daro & Taro on all rolls apply
Roll no doubles or triples on 1st roll means auto failure
Roll one double & one triple ("full house") on 1st throw is auto success
@KennethStAndre1 I know it's a bit different. It really keeps things consistent, even at those big numbers. Also prevents artificial/arbitrary inflation of an SR just to keep higher level PCs challenged. I super-duper hope you try this, I know you'll love it.
@John_Cyrano I'll just say that manual dexterity & agility are obviously very different things, that absolutely should not be governed by the same stat.
I am soliciting comments and new ideas for the M!M! 3rd edition over on FB. I could try the same on X, but I don't think I could keep up with it. If you read this you are invited to join the Monsters! Monsters! Inner Circle. https://t.co/K3hym7YoH8
@KennethStAndre1 I'm not on FB. I would suggest the Classic AP progression for leveling. The level options would need some tweaks. I would change STR=weight possible. Maybe half bodyweight+STR in pounds, instead? A STR of 100 means you could lift 1000 pounds, currently.
