We are pleased to announce that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (@FDA) has expanded the indication for ANKTIVA® (nogapendekin alfa inbakicept‑pmln) + BCG to include patients with BCG‑unresponsive non‑muscle‑invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC) with papillary‑only tumors.
This milestone makes ANKTIVA + BCG the first FDA‑approved therapy for both CIS and papillary‑only disease in the BCG‑unresponsive NMIBC setting. Because papillary tumors represent approximately 85 % of NMIBC diagnoses, this approval significantly broadens access to a bladder‑sparing option for patients who face high risk of recurrence and progression.

Captain Smit Machchhar. An Indian pilot the world is talking about today. 🙏
Flying Flydubai FZ1073, Dubai to Tel Aviv, 174 people on board, his own co-pilot turned on him mid-flight and stabbed him.
Seriously injured, he still fought back, forced the cockpit door open, and gave his crew and passengers the chance to overpower the attacker, preventing what could have been a catastrophic mid-air disaster.
He then got the plane safely diverted and landed in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia.
Israeli PM Netanyahu himself posted:
"My salute to the Indian pilot Captain Smit Machchhar for his extraordinary bravery... He saved the lives of 174 people."
He's now in hospital, reported in stable condition.
This is what quiet, trained composure under genuine mortal danger actually looks like. Every single person on that flight is alive because he didn't stop functioning when it mattered most.
Get well soon, Captain. An entire community is proud of you today. 🙏

I’ve got very sad news: Jim Copenhaver, who was shot at the Butler Trump rally on July 13, 2024, has died.
I don’t have many details at this point, but it’s no secret that Jim was dealing with permanent injuries from Butler—including having bullet fragments still inside of him.
RIP Jim
