Reach is so good at making you feel shit man. No words, just Noble 6 in a Falcon looking over his destroyed world.

Then that line with Carter "It's good to have you back" - "Sorry I came alone." You can tell through the body language and tone that while these guys might be emotionally repressed and hardened soldiers losing a friend still hits for them, but for the sake of others they can't afford to lose their composure.
