Yes, the permission element would be tricky and then the ethical argument. I have a friend who feels Radio 4's My Dream Dinner Party is distasteful with dead celebs chatting together. Creativity wise great but even now on social media when used politically, it's sometimes hard to tell what is AI and what isnt. In the wrong hands it could be quite catastrophic. But as a lover of TV, it would be fascinating to see how it could be used on a show like Doctor Who.

In this scenario is can allow for human creativity. When Larry Hagman passed away, Dallas 2.0 edited past clips and used edited audio to make it look like he was in new scenes for his exit. If Ai had been an option back then it would have been interesing to see what they came up with.
