I noticed something uncomfortable about myself and people 😫
ALWAYS FINISH WHAT YOU START
I’ve been trying to put this thought together for a while, so let me say it plainly from experience. Most of us don’t have a big discipline problem🤗 We have a finishing problem.😔
Lets be pratical here, just pause for a second and really think about the little things we abandon halfway.
The bedsheet we didn’t spread properly at the corner.
The food we didn’t finish but ordered too much of.
The laundry we washed but didn’t fold.
That task at work we “almost” completed.
That skill we started with energy and quietly dropped.
Even that game you didn’t finish arranging well on your bookies (yeah, I see you 😂).
These things look small but they’re not harmless. Those small unfinished things are either building you or breaking you daily.
That bedsheet that’s not straight?
Get up. Walk to the other side. Fix it. Don’t sleep on chaos.
That food you didn’t finish? Next time, serve less. Eat what you can finish.
That skill you started? Yes, it’s boring now. Yes, it’s tiring, but you knew that before you started, so finish it.
That shoelace with one side longer? Fix it properly. Don’t leave loose ends everywhere including in life.
These tiny actions look irrelevant, but they train something dangerous or powerful inside us. They train our identity.
People who finish small things finish big things. Yall agree?
Now, lets talk bout this, If you struggle to finish, your goals are probably too big, So the skills i just started using now is, I break them down. 😁
Don’t cook a large pot of rice you won’t finish, serve small. Finish it.
Don’t plan a long morning run you’ll abandon, walk a short distance but complete it.
That meeting agenda too long?
Reduce it but Finish it.
That betting slip too much? Pick less. Edit well. Finish it. 😄
Completion beats ambition. When you repeatedly finish small goals, something shifts quietly: i mean your confidence grows, discipline strengthens, self-trust builds and without noticing, you start finishing bigger things. It’s about habits.
Try it, then thank me or blame me later 😀
But trust me, If you can finish the small things, you’ll finish the big ones.
Master the act of finishing what you start.

@fgnpcppi Congratulations on your retention! That’s a well-deserved achievement. It’s especially inspiring to see you continue your journey in the power sector. I also completed my service year in a power company, and I’m very interested in opportunities within the power industry.
