Hello everyone. Please stop what you're doing for a moment and read below, if you can.

Joseph Poliquin (whom you may remember as Carl in 'FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S') has suffered severe seizures and is in critical condition in the hospital. Making this even worse is that said seizures have caused extreme memory impairment due to a lack of oxygen during the seizures, causing intense brain damage; he cannot remember why he is in the hospital until being reminded continuously, he cannot remember passwords to his phone and he continually needs to be reminded that he is not currently in Louisiana. His short-term memory has been described as tragically being "essentially non-existent."

Because of this, he cannot work, his wife Brittany has been missing work to look after him, and Joseph's condition is currently critical - all after having moved not even a full 4 months ago. We need your help to aid Brittany as well as Joseph in this tragic case and help ensure a speedier recovery. They are asking for $2,400. As of this writing, $1,987 has been raised. That leaves $413 to be donated.

If you cannot donate, that's completely okay. All we are asking is for the word to be spread about this. Seizures are tragic and heartbreaking; nobody deserves to go through them. And we as a community have the opportunity to help, even if it's little by little. Brittany and Joseph do not deserve any of this. We're hoping things get better, and it's on us to help get the word out.

Nier is presented as a facility from a forgotten time on the First, the Dwarves of the First have long buried and guarded it from being awakened until the Warrior of Light came by.

Clive & Noctis enter the world through the Edge of Reality, the same device used throughout the franchise for travelling between worlds, this is used in Eorzea's game lore to also explain people like Gilgamesh showing up. Never once treated as non-lore till now.

Shantotto is referring to Dawntrail's Alliance Raid, which is literally a construction of magic made from the Key of Azem formed by the same rift that brought us to the Golden City, it's not just integral to the raid, but the MSQ.

FF14 itself is a tribute to all Final Fantasy titles before and after it, we have mechs from FF6, Weapons from FF7, Primals (Summons, Eidolons) from every game, Artifact Armor drawn directly from the outfits of Warriors of Light from other games.

The entire thing is a "promo/collab" when you actually are honest with yourself, it's also an homage. It can in fact, be both.

This is useless bullshit made to complain. You have no idea how FF7's raid will be presented or what lore will be used to explain it. Fuck off.
