@pculturejunkie They are certainly worth a watch once. They were notorious in their country of origin Germany and were sought after in the UK underground VHS circles of the late 80's and 90's. Jorg Buttgereit certainly made a name for himself back in the day. Both now released uncut in the UK!!
@54JohnBull Honestly, just brew your own.
20 litre container sanitised
3.5 kg of white sugar dissolved
17 litres of apple juice
2 packets of EC-1118 champagne yeast
Bravo, 15 - 18% ABV
2 weeks of patience
Cost? ยฃ20 = ยฃ1 a litre = 50p a pint. Bargain.
@HorrorPaperback Poltergeist. Directed by Steven Spielberg ๐ Tobe Hooper in name only. TCM is THE finest Horror film evert made though and Salem's Lot is also perfect. Lifeforce I saw years ago, but I still have the Arrow Blu-ray sealed and yet to watch.
@japan_nobunaga Not just the UK. People are so dependant on money worldwide that nothing else matters. Not even other peoples lives. The whole system is a trap. The WORLD is one big scam of dept, mort-gages, corruption and greed. Worse of all is paying the government to survive through taxation.
@HorrorPaperback Dawn of the Dead is one of the best films EVER made. I don't care if the zombies wear flares and have melted crayons for blood. I'll stand my ground and say it is the most entertaining film to see a projector. Romeros finest hour as an editor and director.
@RetroMoviesDB Nosferatu, Dead of Night, Night of the Living Dead, Universal Horror, Eraserhead, Night of the Demon, The Old Dark House (a true gem), even Sin City which I have not seen for a few years. Gonna give the Blu-Ray a spin on the weekend I reckon. B&W looks stunning on the projector.
@TheStingisBack Offbeat, but I recommend 'The Living Dead at Manchester Morgue'. It's a brilliant film that outdoes Romero's 1968 masterpiece by a mile. We visited a lot of the places where it was filmed around the Derbyshire area a few years ago. Was really cool to see.
