Or what about Egypt where the natives are called Copts and have been persecuted for over a thousand years and are a small percentage of the population now.

What is your line of separation between conquest and land theft?

Most of the Muslim world today was once Christian until Islamic military conquest. The West is called the West because it was Western Christendom. Eastern Christendom had already been conquered by Islamic armies.
