I don't hate Kanto or anything.

I just think other regions do what it does better, but you can think of it as a Jack of all Trades in that sense

johto: specifically wild pokemon levels
hoenn: 60/105/60/105/60/70
sinnoh: yeah HMs
unova: evolution levels too high
kalos: too easy + too small
alola: cutscenes
galar: forgettable
paldea: open world without level scaling

If we ever get an Australia based Region, we will definitely get one then, because newer regions tend to base the new Pokemon on the region

I doubt we'll get a Dedicated Calamity war deck as this seems to be intended as a Generic thing to splash into whatever blue deck.

Characters that are Terrible people can still be Sympathetic and have Sympathetic backstories.

Like they aren't mutually exclusive.

Jax, or rather, Leeroy, could just be Genderfluid and/or chose not to take a new name. Because that can happen.

though I'd definitely say he was likely questioning. As in considering transitioning. Likely because he wasn't in a very good state mentally at the time, and it's very easy to make decisions you tend to regret when you aren't all there mentally

What I have a problem with is how suddenly it happened.

@TheDank_Voyager I honestly preferred that we didn't see the process on screen anyway, leaving something like this to the imagination makes it a bit scarier.

My main issue was just how sudden we went from the characters working together to 'oops! Jax Abstracted!'

Which tells me that either he hadn't transitioned yet, or decided against Transitioning and just be a more effeminate Male.

He is already suffering from insecurities surrounding his masculinity and fear of being taken advantage of

By the time we see his real self though, he likely decided that he is happy as himself

Mid Defenses and too fast for trick room, but too slow to outspeed most things outside of stuff like Tailwind.

So it is kept in check by that

I do like having build options. Physical for amazing coverage, or Special for strong spread STAB
