The Prophet ﷺ warned us about a habit that steals contentment from the heart.
It’s not haram income.
It’s not missed prayers.
It’s not falling short in worship.
It’s something you probably did this morning.
Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever recites Sūrat Al-Kahf on Friday, it will illuminate him with light from one Friday to the next."
● [المستدرك على الصحيحين ٣٦٨/٢]
The Prophet ﷺ said that no one says this du’a in a state of anxiety or grief except that Allah removes his distress and replaces it with relief.
The Prophet ﷺ , whenever he was afflicted with distress, would say:
Ibn Abbas reported: Umar was placed upon his bier as the people surrounded him, supplicated for him, and performed the funeral prayer over him before he was taken away. I was there, and nothing else held my attention but a man putting his hand on my shoulder. ...👇

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
Recite the Qur'an as long as your hearts agree to do so, and when you feel variance between them (between your hearts and tongues), then get up (and leave its recital for the time being).
(Muslim Book 34, Hadith 6444)
Whenever your heart truly wants something to happen, whisper this:
اللَّهُمَّ خَيْرًا فِي كُلِّ أَمْرٍ اِنْتَظِرُهُ
Allahumma khairan fii kulli amrin antaziruh.
“Ya Allah, grant me the best in everything that I am waiting for” ❤️🩹
SubhanAllah the Prophet ﷺ said: The Miswak is a means of cleansing the mouth and pleasing the Lord. It’s amazing how modern science validates it today.
I actually did a detailed post on the incredible benefits and history of Miswak a while ago. Sharing the link here for anyone who wants to read more about it:
Narrated Abu Aiyub: A man said to the Prophet (ﷺ) "Tell me of such a deed as will make me enter Paradise." The people said, "What is the matter with him? What is the matter with him?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "He has something to ask. (What he needs greatly) The Prophet (ﷺ) said: (In order to enter Paradise) you should worship Allah and do not ascribe any partners to Him, offer prayer perfectly, pay the Zakat and keep good relations with your Kith and kin."
(Bukhari Vol. 2, Book 24, Hadith 479)
