On Thursday @aishaforward10 and I directed Mpls Public Works to research implementation of sidewalk plowing to begin in 2024. It passed unanimously!
Without safe and accessible sidewalks, many residents face significant barriers simply trying to go about their lives in winter.
Since the heavy snowfall earlier this month, there has been increased public conversation about my proposal to begin investment in sidewalk plowing, which was voted down by the majority of my colleagues at the end of 2022.
My bill to allow all Minnesotans to obtain a driver’s license regardless of immigration status (SF 27) will be heard in the Senate Transportation Committee today at 3PM. #SíSePuede
