Since he was openly anti-BJP, many gullible Muslims trusted him and donated a huge amount of money.

People did warn others about the account, but despite the warnings, people continued donating.

Later, it turned out that only a few victims actually received the money, while he used the rest to buy iPhones and go on trips.
