I keep meaning to upload this and forgetting.
Departure from the Diary now has cover art! I am very pleased with how this turned out.

@nazbowling102 Counterpoint: autistic people are disproportionately trans because they are more resistant to conformist social pressures. As such, autistic people are not more likely to be trans, but are more likely to realise that they are trans and act on this realisation.
@haggins_bilbo@miabyte @SoSoMikaela There are of course other reasons why one could become trans, as gender is a complex and nuanced phenomenon that can be experienced and expressed in a myriad of ways, but just remember that being trans is supported by scientific evidence
@haggins_bilbo@miabyte @SoSoMikaela Biochemical Dysphoria is an observable phenomenon that can be seen in the brains of many trans people. It's not common, but trans people only account for around 0.6% of the population, so it's hardly out of the question that a majority of trans people have this condition.
@SNeurotypicals The only thing I remember to do consistently is take my medications, and that's because I keep a reminder on my phone and refuse to dismiss the push notification until I actually take the medicine.
(this works because I hate having active notifications)
@SNeurotypicals Yeah, my mom doesn't get how I can forget to do things that I do every day.
The reason is because all those memories get muddled together. Did I do it today, or am I remembering the time that I did it yesterday?
Transgender surgery is older than:
- The discovery of Pluto
- Modern toilet paper
- Chicken tikka masala
- Duct tape
- Ballpoint pens
- Ciabatta bread
- Velcro
- Tupperware
Now stop calling it new or experimental!
inspired by the similarities between PREPOSTEROUS anti-weed fearmongering from the 30s-50s and PREPOSTEROUS transphobic fearmongering today, i made these posters based on some of my most hated transphobe talking points! 👍 and you can buy them if you want: https://t.co/5ts3ofAQfo
transphobes think it's an own to purposefully misgender me or say that i will never be a woman. no one in my day-to-day life thinks i am a man. no one has confused me for a man in several years. purposefully misgendering me just makes you look insane and out of touch with reality
@DYeNesssa@SNeurotypicals People with ADHD are prone to having "Delayed Sleep Phase Syndrome", which causes our bodies' internal clock to be delayed by several hours. It's really common for people with ADHD to be more comfortable going to be at 2 am and sleeping until 10 am because of this delay.
@ElliottRook@SNeurotypicals Yeah, it's really infuriating given the common cultural conception that "sleeping late"=laziness. Like, I get loads of work done in the five hours between 10pm and 3am
