@fhuszar highlights the disproportionate amplification of right-wing political content on Twitter. But why does this bias exist? #TwitterAnalysis#Politics#SocialMedia
My latest pre-print on political trends in French Twitter is now available https://t.co/oEUS42GEsg. It reveals that right-wing users on French Twitter tend to create significantly more links within their own community over time compared to their leftist and centrist counterparts.
It can be seen from self-descriptions that left and centre use Twitter in the same way, whereas right-wing uses it in a very different manner. This can explain why the right wing is becoming more in-group over time.
