29, jun 2025 at Marriott Hotel, stakeholders joined forces to refine Rwanda’s NSOAP 2025–2030. For the leadership of @MoHRwanda in collaboration: @OpSmileRwanda, @ughe_org, @Uni_Rwanda & @Rwandanesthesia. Together, we will strengthen surgical systems for all Rwandans. #NSOAP2025
Today's conversation on the draft NSOAP 2025 -2030 brought together a broad stakeholders' representation way beyond surgeons only to look at person-centered based surgical care; enthousiasm and owmership of the young generation workforce are generating a positive change.
The discussions were lively and constructive as they were led by some new but quite active actors in the field such as @KwizeraNdekezi@UmutoniAlice19. From them we were able to come out with a concise and achievable action plan at each level: from the MOH to the CHWs.
Exciting news! Rwanda is hosting the National Stakeholders' Meeting for the National Surgical, Obstetric & Anesthesia Plan (NSOAP) 2025–2030
