Here’s another solution. Give all remoaners £2m each & allow us to live in Europe, leaving those who voted to Brexit to benefit from the sunny uplands that they’ve promised GB 🇬🇧. It would only cost £34m, that’s less than a DUP bribe or Grayling ferry rental. What a bargain!

Johnson might get away with closing parliament if Brexit was being blocked by a minority of wreckers. However, the referendum was only marginally won and the govt couldn’t win a majority when promising to implement it. Brexit is not the settled will of the British people.

David Gauke - There isn't a mandate for a #NoDealBrexit & it's not what the public wants according to opinion polls... so Parliament does have a responsibility to act & assert some control.. but that will have to happen sooner rather than later.
