The limitations of an European force coming to the aid of the Saudis involve numerous obstacles.

Would it escort Saudi ships? But Saudi Arabia already has frigates with anti-missile systems. It would just be more of the same.

I still can’t quite understand what a European force would provide that the Saudis aren’t already doing, since they have modern ships and a large air force.

What targets would be hit in Yemen? Large factories? Major power plants? Data centers?
You won’t find any of that.

In 2020, a force of 30 Western ships with air support already tried to confront the Yemenis and didn’t have much success.
the Houthis are much better prepared than they were on that occasion.
This is a complex situation that requires more than just a military front.
