“I'm more than happy for gold to run is it just continually increases the ceiling for the Bitcoin price as gold goes up.”

Top U.S. banks have "debanked" customers because of their political or religious views, as well as their business activities, according to a report from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. https://t.co/gLQZv1pw28
Strategy reports a $21 billion gain on digital assets in Q3 2026. Last week, we acquired 334 $BTC and repurchased $176M of $STRC. As of 10/4/26, we hold 848,000 BTC and $5.7B of USD Assets. $MSTR

Crazy but true stat of the day:
From 1800 to 1940 the annual inflation rate was just 0.2% per year
Prices were just 28% higher in a 140 year time frame
Since 1940 it's 3.7% annually or >2,200% in total

Clarity dead. 50 no votes. Immediately thought og this Bloomberg piece about how crypto supported candidates went 48 for 48 last election (which incl Ds, Rs, incumbents, challengers, shoo-ins, longshots). Personally, I wouldn't piss them off them, but hey, you got to do what you got to do. Nov should be interesting, 15 of the 50 are up for election, according to my quick AI query.

Only a few institutions actively allocating.
It's a start, but shows how early we are!
VANECK: 8 OF 12 BITCOIN CAPITULATION SIGNALS ARE FIRING
VanEck says 8 of its 12 Bitcoin capitulation signals are currently flashing, while all 12 have entered capitulation territory at some point over the past three months.
The firm expects a shallower drawdown this cycle than Bitcoin’s previous -78% to -94% bear markets, citing spot ETF demand, a larger institutional holder base, and the absence of major failures like Celsius, 3AC and FTX.
Bitcoin is currently down 49% from its peak.
We have some difficult news to share. Unfortunately, one of our shipping providers has experienced a data breach that exposed sensitive order data. This affects new customers in the US, UK, Sweden, Colombia, Brazil, Italy, and Portugal who received an order within the 90 days prior to August 8th, 2026.
The data exposed:
- Full names
- Shipping addresses
- Phone numbers
- Email addresses
The incident affects 11,742 customers with full exposure (name, email, phone number, shipping address) and 1,947 customers with partial exposure (name, city, email). The breach is limited due to Trezor’s strict 90-day data storage policy (we were also able to negotiate the same terms with fulfillment partners, who follow the same policy).
All affected customers have been contacted separately by email.
Our systems and devices remain secure, but affected customers could experience an increase in phishing attempts.
NEVER enter your wallet backup on a website or share it with anyone, and only check for updates on official Trezor channels.
We are deeply sorry to the community and those affected.
We are investigating this situation and will post updates on our blog:

BREAKING: The US Government officially posts its largest July budget deficit in history, at -$432 billion, due to an acceleration in federal spending.
Interest on US debt rose +$26 billion from last July's levels to an alarming $118 billion for the month.
This puts total interest expense for FY2026 up to $1.17 trillion in FY2026.
As a result, interest expense has officially surpassed both National Defense and Medicare spending.
In other words, the US government now spends more money just on interest than it does to fund the entire US Military or to provide healthcare for seniors.
We cannot afford higher interest rates.
This is what a genuine apology looks and sounds like.
Tough to verify when you aren’t technical enough to verify the security of wallets.
The number of people rolling dice is so incredibly small that it should stop being talked about.
Self custody UI is a huge problem for Bitcoin.
Strategy increased its USD Reserve by $250M and repurchased $81M of $STRC. This increased USD Duration by 57 days to 2.3 years and tightened STRC’s BTC Credit by 5 bps. As of 8/2/26, we hold ₿842,138 in our BTC Reserve and $4.0B in our USD Reserve. $MSTR https://t.co/t7bGZJ8Q3o
I used to think the biggest risk to Self Custody was my own ability to maintain private keys. This ColdCard hack really sucks for self custody.
Multisig remains the top solution, but I’ll never blame a normal person for buying Bitcoin ETFs going forward. It is still early, but late in the game for an issue like this.
This is worse than any previous Bitcoin exchange hack. It is arguably one of the worst things that could happen.
The popular hardware wallet COLDCARD has a faulty random number generator (RNG). Funds are being drained from ordinary users’ hardware wallets as you read this.
Users first reported to Block less than 24 hours ago that funds were moving out of their wallets. The exploit was most likely discovered with the help of AI. Block has confirmed that the RNG is broken. You know what that means.
There are likely already multiple attackers competing for the affected BTC. Many more will join very soon.
Nobody knows how much BTC is affected.
Nobody knows how many users are affected.
This attack has only just begun, and it will continue until all affected BTC has been drained unless users secure their funds first. Inevitably, many Bitcoiners will not hear about the incident early enough to respond in time.
I am truly saddened for everyone affected, especially those who may have just lost their life savings.
The worst part is that they did everything right.
Donald Trump is right about this:
Eliminate the debt limit—its only real function is to threaten an economic crisis.
I'm ready to work with both Democratic and Republican Senators to immediately scrap the debt ceiling and protect the economy.
