The worst case that will happen is you will die, the best case that will happen in paradise. That sounds much better than gambling, and if you’re wrong, experiencing eternal punishment knowing all along, you could’ve changed your views.

I think that’s the whole “free will” thing @_madslyn is not understanding. As people, we can’t be mad at somebody for punishing us if they give you free will. If we don’t want punishment, then we cannot have free will to make our own decision.
We do have free will though. So, our options are either:
-a person can spend their time on earth striving for paradise and hope they’re right about there being no reckoning for their choices
or
- a person can spend that time on earth striving to live a life that prepares them for eternal paradise.
