GText, founded by Stephen Akintayo, has started bullying and intimidating me simply because I asked for the three months’ salary they owed me.
I was blocked by the founder months ago after I repeatedly requested payment, and despite several attempts to resolve the matter, I was still not paid until I spoke publicly about it and the public pressure helped.
I have nothing to apologize for. Asking for my legitimately earned salary is not an offence.
What seems to be upsetting them now is that other former staff who are also owed money have started speaking up and asking for what they are owed.
I will not be bullied, intimidated or pressured into silence for speaking about my own experience and asking for money I worked for.
I stand by what I said, and I will continue to address this matter through the appropriate channels.

BREAKING: Justice Silvanus of High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, has ordered Jordan Ezenwo Nyesom-Wike, son of the FCT Minister, to produce his American passport in court.
The court made the order following an application by Counsel to the claimants, Hamza Dantani, during the defendant’s defence, in an alleged $2.1 million fraud case.
The suit, marked CV/008/2026, was filed by Safwan Garba GY and GY Global Oil and Gas Nigeria Limited against Jordan, who is the son of FCT Minister Nyesom Wike.
The claimants said they met Jordan in London, where they developed a friendship and after about three months, they met again in Abuja, where they approached him for assistance to facilitate the acquisition of land in the Federal Capital Territory.
The claimants claim that Jordan agreed to facilitate the acquisition of 30 hectares of land at Katampe and 30 hectares at Guzape. They alleged that Jordan told them the facilitation fee was $2.1 million, adding that $2 million was for his father, the FCT Minister, while $100,000 was his personal fee.
They further alleged that the cash was delivered on September 26, 2025 in the presence of Adamu Sani, Aliyu Sarki, and Sai Wani, while Jordan was accompanied by one Onor Sandy.
The claimants said after receiving the money, Jordan neither delivered the land nor returned the money, and instead went incommunicado.
@AskMichaelTaiwo This is difficult
It is like sponsoring a wedding and asking the couple not to touch each other.
Or sponsoring someone's degree and asking him not to apply for jobs for some years after NYSC so he can go for higher degree.
Are there people actually buying properties from some of these real estates?
You read some offer letters or estate terms or whatever sometimes and you're provoked to contempt.
Clauses and terms that are directly against settled constitutional provisions and case law.
"If a subscriber intends to get a refund, 20% administrative fee shall be deducted, but he shall he entitled to a full refund where the estate initiates the refund".
"Xyz may revoke your title or interest in the property without notice if you breach any estate rule"
"You agree to be bound by all rules and regulations that the management may come up with for the smooth running of the estate"
A client was given an offer for a piece of land early 2025. When we reviewed the offer and did a detailed letter to the real estate firm on why some clauses cannot stand, they couldn't reply on the substance. They only replied that they were no longer selling to our client and that our letter to them was defamatory.
If real estate companies are bent on killing people because they (people) want to own their own houses, we (lawyers) will also not get our knees off the necks of real estate firms o.
@fisayosoyombo@BrosDamian It won't be your last. It is in you. You are driven by passion, not fame or money or you would have stopped since.
I still laugh every time I remember the army saying they have caught you as an oil 'bunkerer' that time.
You have been through lots and you haven't stopped.
@Millishield01 Except for the first example, all three others are two words and not one. Eg
Ẹ pọn - sharpen it
Ẹ pọn - mould it
Even the last one isn't correct. It's not a correct Yoruba. We don't ever say "ẹ pọn which means you are red.
You must know your language and know it well.

I once called HR about a job offer I already liked.
It was better than the other offers on the table. I had called loved ones to share the good news. Then I picked up the phone again and asked, "Is this the best you can do?"
A pause. A check. The offer went up by several thousand dollars.
I thanked her and asked the same question again. Another check. Another increase.
The third time, the answer was a firm "Yes!"
"Deal!"
That conversation worked out well for me. It is not a script that guarantees anyone else the same result. But it remains one of the shortest conversations I have had that made a substantial difference to a job offer.

This resource is perfect for anyone preparing for job assessments,
In 1988 Dolly Parton pulled every 7th and 8th grader in Sevier County into a room and told them to pick a buddy.
She made them sign a contract.. if BOTH graduate, she hands you both $500. One fails, nobody gets paid.
The county dropout rate went from 35% to 6%.
She handed out the checks herself.
In 1989 she offered $500 to every kid in the county who wanted to go to the local college.
When Gatlinburg burned in 2016, she sent 900 families $1,000 a month for six months.
You've probably heard that part.
Here's the part you haven't:
The fund raised more than expected, so she showed up in May and handed every one of those families another $5,000 on top.
Then she quietly put $3 million into the recovery group that handles the years after the news trucks leave.
She built her county an entire hospital.
She played a benefit concert in 2007, Dollywood and the Stampede matched it, and LeConte Medical Center opened in 2010 with a birthing unit and a women's center in it.
In 2022 she started covering 100% of tuition, books, and fees for Dollywood employees.
Full-time, part-time, AND seasonal.
In 1991 she paid for a bald eagle sanctuary because the birds couldn't be released back into the wild, no press release.
And when Hurricane Helene came through here in Western North Carolina, she wrote a personal check for $1 million and her companies matched it.
She didn't owe North Carolina anything, but she helped us anyway.
She started the Imagination Library because her daddy couldn't read or write. Before he passed, he told her it was the most important thing she ever did.
Rest in Peace, Dolly 🇺🇸
Two Nigerians just closed Africa's largest seed round.
$52 million.
Not fintech. Not crypto. Defense technology.
Nathan Nwachuku and Maxwell Maduka founded Terra Industries in 2024. They build autonomous drones, sentry towers, and unmanned ground vehicles from a 15,000 sq ft factory in Abuja.
Two years in. On track to book $100 million in contracts by year-end.
A second factory in Ghana opens Q4 2026. 34,000 square feet. When fully operational, it will be the largest drone factory on the African continent. Capacity: 50,000 units per year by 2028.
Not an isolated story either.
Nigerian startups raised $214 million in equity in the first half of 2026 alone. More than Egypt. More than any other country on the continent. The strongest equity showing since 2022.
People will tell you Africa cannot build hard tech. That the continent is only good for mobile apps and consumer fintech.
Terra is manufacturing autonomous systems in Abuja and opening offices in London and San Francisco.
The narrative that Africans only consume technology is dying. Slowly, expensively, and loudly.
When a seed round from Nigeria is bigger than most Series B rounds in Europe, the conversation has already shifted.
You just have not been listening.
I graduated with a 4.99/ 5.00 CGPA in Hospitality and Tourism from Federal University of Agriculture (FUNAAB), setting a new record as the first in my department, college and the University.
