How can you expect to represent people in government if you do not practice basic principles our society depends on such as "innocent until proven guilty?"

Women and men are equal under the law, and have equal accountability. Perhaps there is information we don't yet have, but as of right now it sounds like everyone involved in the story made a lot of bad choices. Whether the legal definition of rape occurred is doubtful, but will be decided by a jury of the accused's peers (if it is even close enough to go that far), not by a so-called leader declaring their guilt before a trial.

But Montana law still restricts them.

We will support legislation to reverse that in the upcoming session.

Adoption != Foster System. Babies typically are adopted fully upon birth.

@Jenni5309867 @ReichlinMelnick I'm not aware of the extent to which you have studied the Bible. There are verses in the new testament as well giving the state authority to issue capital punishment. It is an ugly issue, and a complicated issue, but one that is well-covered.
