@BRijswijk@___TheGOOdWitch 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤦🏾♂️ looks like you don’t read in full context… If you read Exodus, the context of slaves is already explained before you get to those verses… Try again🤣😂🤣😂🤦🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️
@BRijswijk@___TheGOOdWitch No, I didn’t lol. I can’t argue with an atheist who believes in “No gods” but somehow believes in the creation everything from the basis of NOTHING. Then try to use Morality to justify going against the very basis of which it came from. ATP, we can just agree to disagree🤷🏾♂️
@NBrasing@___TheGOOdWitch SLAVES WERE REGARDED AS INDENTURED SERVANTS!!! THAT’S THE CONTEXT OF THE SCRIPTURES!!! THE ATLANTIC SLAVE TRADE BASTARDIZED THEIR INTERPRETATION THE BIBLE TO JUSTIFY THEIR HARSH TREATMENTS OF AFRICAN SLAVES… THAT’S THE POINT!!! How are you not seeing this???🤣😂🤣😂🤦🏾♂️
@NBrasing@___TheGOOdWitch Yes, I did read those verses… If I go with your interpretation, then who are the sojourners? Are they called Israelites??? Cuz from that text, an Israelite can SELL HIMSELF TO A SOJOURNER if he’s too poor… Reread verse 47…
@NBrasing@___TheGOOdWitch Ok… Leviticus 25:35-55 for the full context… I’ll highlight verse 53… “Like an man hired year by year he shall be with him; he shall not have dominion over him with brutality in your sight.”
@NBrasing@___TheGOOdWitch This is true to a certain extent… Yes, there were slaves from other nations surrounding Israel… The difference is that those same slaves still had basic human rights… The children of Israel were instructed to treat them as servants (think maids and butlers).
@BRijswijk@___TheGOOdWitch Nice try… Now from verses 35-56, same chapter and book… These 3 verses are taken out of context if you only read these 3 verses… Again, slavery IN THIS CONTEXT is NOT the Trans Atlantic Slave Trade… Try again😂🤣🤦🏾♂️
