@GoodeveningJp@ScriptingJapan What about the the kanji 蝴 for 蝴蝶?I agree with all your above points but I remember seeing that, at least in Chinese, 蝴蝶 presents an exception to the one to one word “rule”. I understand the character itself is extremely rarely used in Japanese but what do you think?
@ShinyGlaceon3@NumbNexus There’s more little things. Trainers and gym leaders are quite a bit stronger in Emerald so there’s much more of a challenge. The entire map is connected in Emerald so it doesnt feel like you’re going from section to section sometimes like in ORAS. Less handholdy overall, etc.
@JustinJVan80@maxfawcett I don’t understand your point. On a per capita GDP basis Canada is second in the G7, and if you limit it just to recent growth Canada is again doing no worse than the other G7 countries. It certainly does not “lag well behind” (wording that can be easily confused nevertheless).
@RAWJapan@sharp_writing@observingjapan A big deal was made last year as well regarding whether he would reach double digit wins when he had 9, so nothing exclusive to this year. Glad he finally pulled it off.
@DavidinSetouchi @BeriFight@konotaromp I suppose we should start calling Jong Un Kim and Jinping Xi according to proper English first and last name rules then…
@observingjapan The usage of 心肺停止 also can have the implication that a doctor simply hasn’t pronounced him dead. I truly hope that it is unclear and he survives this.
@Raspberry__Rose@KeatonPatti Sad part is, it was pretty effective as well. Took until high school and later for me to realize that a lot of what I was consuming was actually Japanese.
@Tchuk_Norris_79 @NHL@NHLonTNT@Sportsnet@betwayusa The back to back Stanley cup champions against the biggest hockey market in the world. Sounds like a matchup for the ages to me
@jt_mag_os What is this information based on? According to the Prime Minister’s Office, Japan has been hitting 1 million 3rd shots everyday for a week and the days before that hovered from 900,000 - 1 million. 🤔
@Hasemo@GearoidReidy Hard to know exactly to what extent the average number of tests is reflective of overall case count nowadays considering there have been days with more cases than average tests 🤔
