@skb777 Given that the last Championship Manager I played properly was 01/02, calling me a kid is almost as wrong as saying Lewis Wing should be dropped.
But not quite...
@skb777 I'm pretty sure the number of points we score, and by extension whether or not we get relegated, isn't, in fact, irrelevant.
Clearly we have different ideas of what success looks like.
@skb777 Only stat that really matters is points.
Without those directly from Wing's goal involvements, we'd have avoided relegation by one point (or been relegated by six, depending on the method).
All you've said, incorrectly, is that he scored a worldie every ten games...
@TKralow So you're saying the sworn statement made by the Tate's lawyers is a lie...?
Because that would make things worse for them.
You get that right, big brain?
@skb777 - 22 goal involvements last season.
- The top midfielder in the division across the board, rankings-wise.
- His goals and assists directly accounted for >30% of our points total.
"worldie goals every 10 games"?
Your problem appears to be an acute denial of reality.
@JessopFF223 Not enough for him to not have been directly involved in 30% of the points we won last season?
To put that in perspective, no Wing goal involvements = relegation in 25/26.
It's really that simple.
@skb777 Was Charlton's last PSF, and they put out a strong side. The sentiment from their fanbase is that a strong side played poorly, and they were impressed with us.
Also (still) doesn't detract from the quality of the goals he scored.
But, again, who are you replacing him with?
@atrupar We're at the 'We want to use AI to condition children with the learning we explicitly mandate' stage of this administration.
And that should terrify you.
@skb777 None. It was a pre-season friendly and therefore not competitive.
That doesn't change the nature of his performance, or the quality of the goals he scored though, does it?
@skb777 Three games ago was Charlton, where he led the midfield and scored two worldies.
11 goals and 11 assists last season, with his goal involvements directly responsible for 20 points (/27, depending on how you measure).
Who are you replacing that with, out of interest?
@RobbieCoo76 In Ireland and the UK, the entire community's mindset needs to be dragged into the 21st century.
You cannot have an entire section of society that refuses to live by its rules and begs for sympathy and respect when they suffer the consequences of their criminal actions.
@TKralow So your big-brained, real-world response is that the sworn filing made on behalf of the brothers is, in fact, itself a lie?
Because the implications of that for them would be...bad.
You get that, right?
@peterjukes@michaelwhite As expected, people who (colour) blindly believed everything MAGA agitator Cofnas had to say will now pick, choose, demand evidence, and contort themselves silly through the rest of his racist repertoire.
