Yeah they took out all the fun stuff. I at least got to fuck around with the 240 but there were many groups shortly after me who never touched it. I don't even bother asking anymore since I know I'm just gonna get sad. Marine Corps is still in quite a bit of a slump sadly, it's only gonna get better when we're downrange again.

@WKoumrian @TMGUSA92 Correction: there were a couple female instructors but I almost never saw/interacted with them. They must have arrived shortly before I went through since there were only two; this was a couple years before CI became an SDA, so they weren't exactly the cream of the crop.

When I went through basic, my drill instructors all had the packing list, and I know this because I saw them set up their shit the same way we did ours. Same story for the combat instructors. I was one of the last groups blessed with entirely male staff on the west coast though, so I can't comment on whether or not female instructors did the same thing. We did have a sister platoon with a lot of female marines that they shipped over from the east coast though, and they were falling out of all the hikes despite the males carrying their rucks for them. They were absolutely pushed through.

@BamaExpat It is theologically-sound thinking. Sex is an expression of love but it also serves the purpose of creating children, so anything outside of that would be considered deviant behavior in the same way that masturbation or sex outside of marriage would be.

You should note in the video that they only call an ambulance because his pupils aren’t reacting to light. They also do a very poor job of triaging this man because they never at any point lift his shirt much higher than his navel or attempt to open it. Even in the event that he hadn’t been stabbed, it’s obvious that he needs some form of aid.
