@Spider_Criminal Counting ToyBiz Spider-Man legends $6.99 each in 2002 originally. One could get Spidey and Gobby and still have money leftover for candy/snacks for under $20. A different world.
@HIDEO_KOJIMA_EN Great taste, highly suggest the underrated gem that is Wallace and Gromit in Project Zoo (2003) if you haven't played it already and want a cozy throwback platformer/action adventure!
@mista_retro Itโs okay and not your fault, vibe coders canโt hold enough intelligence in their brain to understand nuance or humor that requires any sort of media or social literacy, even when you hand hold them, itโs better off to get their attention with jangling keys
@Jackson8673@GodzillaMendoza@gameunlocked26 literally no one is "poorly optimizing on purpose" to make people laugh, mindless amoral chuds without any artistic or media literacy actually do think this stuff is an upgrade, let alone all wasted power and mods it took to generate with DLSS5 for the equivalent of keys jangling
Nicolas Cage says he refused to sign a waiver allowing Amazon to use AI in his โSpider-Noirโ series:
โI am not an AI-friendly actorโฆ Iโm probably not going to be working with that studio again, but thatโs okay.โ
@viejoamargo_@HighDefDiscNews I've yet to buy it or check it out myself (torn since I have the physical steelbook coming anyway), but others I've seen have reported it is HDR (no Dolby Vision ofc with PS5), though don't take my final word on it
@viejoamargo_@HighDefDiscNews I thought it was limited to 5.1 surround too but you can get more if your Sony Picture Core settings has a toggle for Preferred Audio Default, you can switch it up to Dolby Atmos (using a PS5 here) https://t.co/tEcQqiHIJm
UPDATE: unlike other titles, you have to go into settings and change your preferred audio default to โDolby Atmosโ, as it will not default to Atmos on โDefaultโ even if other titles do on a compatible Atmos setup. (At least on PS5, not sure on Bravia TVโs but itโs worth checking)
@1998Wens I find when people say they donโt like HDR, 95% percent of the time they donโt understand how it works so theyโre using either a display in SDR, HDR to SDR, or a poorly calibrated or low-nit cheap HDR display. YouTube comparisons and social media screenshots do no justice truly.
@Flatpanels I thought it was limited to 5.1 surround too, but when I went to the Sony Pictures Core settings and switched default preferred audio to Dolby Atmos, IMAX Enhanced with Dolby Atmos was made available suddenly. This was on PS5, but SPC does have IMAX+Atmos https://t.co/jeft5o86Qb

Format comparison of Spider-Man Brand New Day on digital. Sony has the โIMAX Enhancedโ large format version exclusive to the Sony Pictures Core app on Sony TVs & PS5. Locking premium formats to their own products is anti-consumer btw, the 1.90.1 cut wonโt be on physical either js
I've got Brand New Day on both Apple TV and Sony Pictures Core and can confirm the former is scope, the latter is IMAX (1.90:1)
Apple TV has 4K, Dolby Vision & Atmos, Sony Pictures Core is badged as IMAX Enhanced, HD & 5.1
