@AGEOFTK @cashmeout2s I think the bigger issue is when there are REAL cases they don't get nearly as much reach as the false accusations so it has jaded people. No on cares because more often then not the ones that get pushed are false. That's why we need to be discerning with cases and push real ones

It wasn't swept under the rug. It was very public. They publicly reviewed the case TWICE, the trial was EXTREMELY public (it was widely talked about, even outside of yhe hockey community), and there was a whole big announcement from Vegas about signing him.

It is so bleakly NHL that the only two teams to sign players from the Hockey Canada Five wind up in the Stanley Cup Final not even a year removed from their acquittal. This is hockey culture. Sweep it under the rug and trod all over it.
