1/. On 5 March 2020, the PM was asked why Britain hadn't locked down
He replied saying "one the theories is that we could #TakeItOnTheChin"
A year ago today - briefed by No.10 - @Peston revealed the govt strategy was to “allow the virus to pass through the entire population”.
On 21 Sept, SAGE warned of “catastrophic consequences” if the UK didn’t lockdown
At the same time Johnson & Sunak met lockdown-sceptics Gupta, Tegnell & Carl Heneghan (described as a “fuckwit” who “does not understand basic epidemiology”) @covidinquiryuk
This is serious datamining - the new gold making a new generation of tech billionaires Sunak is pushing
Our #NHS database is possibly the most comprehensive in the world. These datasets are crucial to build AI health systems from prevention to diagnosis and to treatment.
If these systems are built abroad, using our own rich NHS datasets and then sold back to the NHS, we'll be paying twice, totally reliant on these companies for the foreseeable future, and loose control of how its used.
Not only more appalling selling off our country's assets, but Palantir is described as the “scariest” of America’s tech giants. They started out working with data/data patterns for US soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan. Its tools enable the surveillance and analysis of data!
@n3ll41 Sieh Dich bitte auch mal unter dem Hashtag #PalantirPlan um, wer und was hinter dieser Software steckt und warum die Anwendung dieser konkreten SW massiv problematisch wäre:

2/. Here’s @Helen_Whately attempting to blame scientists for the govt’s policy of transferring #COVID19 patients from hospitals into care homes without testing
@KayBurley wasn’t impressed
BURLEY: You can't stick this on the scientists
WHATLEY: I can
10/. Pressure on journalists not to dig too deep also comes from editors & other sources
On 13/3/20, @Telegraph ran an article with the chilling headline: “Those questioning govt COVID strategy are a danger to us all”
But it was those NOT questioning stategy who were the danger
I remember an onslaught of journalists when myself and @StefSimanowitz pointed out the ‘talking it on the chin’, ‘herd immunity’ and Greenwich ‘superman’ speech in the early days of the pandemic. Were they ‘got at’ by Government?

“Do you own shares in Moderna #RishiSunak, ‘cos if you do, are we now talking about insider trading?” @carolvorders
Sunak co-founded a hedge fund that invested £1b in Moderna shares & refuses to say if he holds assets in the hedge fund & therefore Moderna
You can't say they keep quiet about their worldview. This statement by Thiel should disqualify Palantir from any contracts with the NHS. Would the UK govt contract with a company that advocated ripping UK voting eligibility rules apart & starting over by denying women the vote?
