Great work with CFL defensive back Robert Javier. Was a standout at Towson University before doing a stint with the Tennessee Titans.

The hardest parts for me was believing someone would give me an opportunity…
Believing someone else would see what I knew about myself…
It wasn’t believing in what I was capable of…
It wasn’t believing I could be great if I got it…
I see a lot of people allowing their circumstances, other people, to dictate what they believe about themselves… trust what you know about yourself, remind yourself every day… & never let someone else’s NO, make you think you are NO good!
Caring about other people’s lives and being affected by their successes and short comings is one thing I’ll never understand. Guys will talk about Tomlin all day or argue Jordan / LeBron and never go visit their own grandma
This is what I was talking about yesterday, cool that these two guys got their chance to thrive on the big stage… we continue to spend so much time on the “measureables”, I’m a believer that you follow “production”, the thing that really matters & tells u if someone can play!
I’ll never stop giving God the credit.
Especially at Christmas.
Because there were seasons when I didn’t know how I was going to make it out.
Moments so dark I couldn’t even see my next step, let alone a way forward.
But Christmas reminds us all that light was born into darkness.
When we don’t have the strength, God does.
When our hope is gone, God’s isn’t.
God will reach down, right in the middle of our mess, picked us up, and whisper what we couldn’t tell oursleves. You’re not done yet.
That’s what this season is really about.
Not perfection. Not pretending everything is fine. But grace showing up when you need it most.
So if you’re in a dark place right now, don’t give up. The same God who brought light into the world specializes in pulling people out of places they never thought they’d escape.
If God, did it for me, God can do it for you too. 🎄✨
High school football coaches might have the most important job in any community and it’s overlooked. They set the culture for the largest group of young men in a school. If they build good men, not just wins, that ripple hits families, schools, and the whole community.
