Great pleasure to share our latest work @institutpasteur, the result of an exiting and fruit(fly)ful collaboration with Angela Giangrande’s team @IGBMC! We show the impact of prenatal perturbations of my favourite macrophages, on adult hematopoiesis! https://t.co/yQUZqr198X$
After reading the paper, I looked him up online. I was amused to learn that the year highlighted by his paper, 1936 -- a year which he brilliantly introduces in the attached excerpt, was also the year he was born.
And sadly, this year, 2023, was the year of his death.
It's remarkable in many ways. It's well written, erudite and clearly explains key concepts. And I think he was right to put such an emphasis on the importance of knowing the (hi)story of our discipline.
Hi @institutpasteur I see this lovely quote attributed to Louis Pasteur everywhere! Can you vouch for its authenticity ? And if so do you know the source?
