@ColorTheBooks With tools like Lumen, the issue is that I’m aiming for an old‑school aesthetic, so enabling it would be overkill for my project.
But I still need reflections, so I’m working with reflection captures and the other legacy tools to get the look I want.
@ColorTheBooks I started adding planar reflections in a level ten times bigger than this one, my framerate went from 100 FPS down to 8.
You really have to be careful with that stuff

When I was a kid, I often slept in the countryside during vacations.
The atmosphere in my game is the same as what I used to see back then, just without the dead man.

@EffinMaggie Honestly, I’m glad the game reminds you of the old days, it reassures me.
It’s actually complicated, because I’m coding a nostalgic game while somehow managing to stay focused on the project in the present.
