This guy Prithvi Shaw is completely undisciplined. He's so deep into the hookup scene and all that stuff that I don't even know what to say.
Akriti Agarwal was right about him all along, but she ended up deleting her story because of pressure from his family
Commentator: What about to McCullum, Shane?
Shane Warne: I reckon he's trying to go inside-out, but given what just happened, he may try to sweep this. So I'll slide this through him a bit quicker... fast
A live mic, a master plan, and absolute execution. Only the King could call a wicket exactly like this.
@OldMonkOfCric Imagine being the batsman, walking back to the pavilion, and finding out the bowler literally broadcasted your exact downfall 10 seconds before it happened. Psychological damage 100
I don't get why everyone is losing their minds over this. Dropping him is the right move. Let's be real, he gives us 2 good knocks a year and then goes into hiding. How can any team depend on that? We can't just continue with him forever based on past vibes.
Seriously, he should have just retired right after the World Cup final, given an emotional speech, and walked into the sunset. He already gave us "everything," and let's be totally honest, we weren't even expecting those kinds of knocks from him in the World Cup anyway! It was a complete miracle.
people are getting emotional over the POTT award, but cricket moves fast. If you average under 25 or 30 in your last ten innings and fail in 4 consecutive matches right after a big tournament, the management has to look at the future. We have 5 other young players playing consistently. You can't block a spot for someone who only shows up twice a year.
It’s a tough situation. On one hand, 3 matches is an incredibly short rope for a reigning POTT winner. On the other hand, with so much young talent knocking on the door, management can't afford to let sentimentality stall the team's transition. A brutal reminder of how fast cricket moves
@CricketElysee Jatin had every right to celebrate India’s win, and he apologized immediately. Shoaib was frustrated after the defeat, and Jatin ended up bearing the brunt of that frustration
@OldMonkOfCric Exactly. What players do in their personal lives shouldn't matter as long as they deliver on the pitch. Gill knows how to separate his personal life from his game, and his discipline shows
@CricketElysee@ImManu_29 Jessica handled the banter brilliantly and took the joke in the right spirit. Unlike Mel McLaughlin, she kept it light, laughed it off, and made the conversation fun and enjoyable. But one thing’s for sure Gayle will never change! 😂
@OldMonkOfCric The 2008 Stanford Super Series was wild. A winner-takes-all match for $20 million is a pressure cook environment most athletes will never experience. Chris Gayle and the Stanford Superstars completely dominated that night!
