coins go up and down. that’s the game. but only high supply controlled coins can go from multi millions to zero in a single day
and the playbook is always the same
team controls 90% of supply. they don’t sell it directly, instead they distribute it to KOLs. 50 KOLs, 0.5% to 1% each. sometimes more. the team doesn’t care about giving away 50% because the math still works, give 50 people free tokens, each one posts about it, suddenly the timeline is flooded with “conviction” posts and they still have 40% more to yield from
the team’s only goal is attention. more eyeballs, more buyers, more exit liquidity for everyone who got it for free to exit into. the KOLs are the distribution channel, not the community
and the KOLs? they don’t care either. they get 3 of these deals per day. monday they’re “all in” on this coin, wednesday they’re “all in” on the next one. conviction lasts exactly as long as the “sell rules” schedule. they post the shill, they sell, they move on. it’s a job, not a position
so who’s to blame when it crashes? the team blames the KOLs for selling. the KOLs blame the team for bad tokenomics. both made money. both knew the game they were playing. neither of them care about the people who bought based on 50 “organic” posts that were all paid placements
but honestly? it’s your fault too
when you see 50 KOLs posting about the same coin on the same day, that’s not organic discovery. that’s a campaign. when a coin has 90% supply controlled and the “community” is just a telegram full of people who all got free tokens, there is no community. when every post is “this is going to $1B” with no thesis, you already know
the team always makes money. they kept supply, they sold OTC, they collected fees. the KOLs almost always make money: free tokens with no cost basis is hard to lose on.
the only person who can lose is you. the person who bought on the open market because 50 people who got it for free told you it was going higher
next time you see a coin with 90% supply controlled and every KOL on your timeline posting about it on the same day, ask yourself one question: who’s exit liquidity here?
