@InvaderMachine Depending on what it consumes, the Ink Feeder’s body patterns may brighten, dull, or shift hue entirely. Well-fed individuals glow with shifting blues and greens; starving ones fade to a sickly grey.

@InvaderMachine Many species in the Rift produce glowing fluid in place of blood or venom, and the Ink Feeder uses its needle-like proboscis to extract it.

This stolen ink isn’t just nourishment —
it’s how the creature manages and alters its own coloration.

Diet: The Ink Feeder survives by draining bioluminescent ink from other Rift-dwelling creatures.
