I love how every 2-3 years a new journalist will propose that the Angels should trade Mike Trout like it’s some new novel concept.
The Angels will never trade Mike Trout, and frankly I don’t think he wants to be traded either.
The Angels need to look into trading Mike Trout right now, as his value will never be higher, and his contract is still a major risk for them.
Los Angeles is further from contention now than they were when Trout signed this most recent extension, and their farm system ranked as the worst in baseball last February.

Never seen this before.
Edwin Díaz rolled out to stretch today in a brimless hat. Just a regular Dodger cap with the bill sliced off. He said Tanner Scott started the trend.
I’m very happy for Konnor Griffin and the Pirates but this is very ominous for MLB Fans.
These Mega-Prospects are signing these huge deals because THEY KNOW whenever they hit free agency is 6/7 years there will likely be a salary cap on the league that stunts their next contract
