Yesterday, to my delight, I received an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Exeter. It means a huge amount and I'm very grateful to Professor Martin Siegert and all of his colleagues for making me and my family so welcome. It was particularly special that the ceremony was at the University's campus in Penryn, just a few miles from where I grew up in Cornwall.
It was hugely inspiring to see the graduation of so many talented students. Many congratulations to one and all.
I'm very grateful for the chance to have taken part in such a special morning for the students, their families and the University as a whole. The whole day was one to treasure.
