We did that!! Watching @KarenEThomsen put OUR compost into the new school gardens :) the kids were impressed that their food decomposed into soil! And also with the smell haha

Had a successful publishing party for our poems! The students brought in food that they wrote their poems about and we got to taste their treats!! I didn’t get a pic because I was too busy stuffing my face 👍🏼

We spent so much time outside today! The students worked in groups to design and create businesses and products using the natural resources in the courtyard! Then they used their knowledge of coins to be producers and consumers! One group sold fishing lessons!

These guys presented all they’ve learned about composting to the ‘big bosses’ today. They are lobbying for real change in our world by implementing a composting system at our school to make less trash 👍🏼
