I still get the urge to hide behind the clothes in my closet when things get too loud I have since I was 16, even in my own house it's hard sometimes. Healing takes time and this reminds me I am not done growing.

It is remembering that text 17 times a day at the exact moments I physically cannot answer: in the shower, driving, buying groceries, or holding a plate of pasta.
