AI for video and voice generation is being largely rejected by the public, and for good reasons. While LLMs have the power to profoundly change our lives, I find myself second-guessing every piece of content I come across on Instagram Reels. I just don’t know who made it, what their true intent was, or if they used genAI.

This constant doubt makes me wonder about the current push from AI companies. My theory is that they are going full throttle on video content because they believe it generates maximum exposure to showcase their models. I believe this is short-sighted. I hope we continue to reject end-to-end generation of video and voice content.

While I love that my personal agent can talk back to me, I cannot stand what an undisclosed AI-generated voice does to my mind subconsciously.
