The Bath University Liberal Democrat Society (BULDS) aims to give student supporters of the party access to discussion, campaigning and top-tier socials.
BULDS unequivocally supports Ukraine's right to sovereignty and safety.
We denounce this statement by the UK's largest youth political group as dangerous and misguided.

not NATO.
While we accept difference in policy positions to the current leadership of our party, we are especially concerned in this instance to see Keir Starmer pushing not only for further engagement with NATO, but celebrating it while attacking Stop The War and other pro-peace activists
@JoshMorrisBlake@bathunigreens We're a federal party and though I'll admit most MPs arent very supportive the conference decided:
"accept that new nuclear power stations can play a limited role in electricity supply provided they can be built without public subsidy".
The UoB members support nuclear.
@bathunigreens A great sounding policy but an impossible one. Renewables are currently unreliable and extremely costly and (overlooked by greens) also produce large amounts of toxic waste (more than nuclear per unit of energy).

If you support Proportional Representation - a change we desperately need to better UK democracy - then please consider sharing this tweet and giving us a follow.
Westminster needs reform. We need to make votes count.
*Backed by Conservative MPs*. I voted against this. I do want a Government to tackle social care and yes someone was always going to have to pay.
This Tory plan hurts the poorest the most. The biggest burden should be carried by the broadest shoulders - not the poorest.
Calling all Uni of Bath students!
The Bath Uni Green Party alongside Labour and the Liberal Democrats are hosting a speaker event with Make Votes Matter on the 30th. It would be great for you to come along and find out how we can make our democracy work better for us all.
I'm honoured to be selected as the @LibDems MP candidate for Winchester.
I will use my experience as a local vet and mental health campaigner to give Winchester the voice it deserves.
People are tired of sleaze and corruption. We can do much better. 1/4
Losing a loved one is always hard, but losing someone so young is particularly difficult. My thoughts and prayers are with Catherine and their children, and all James’ family and friends.

Last week I wrote to the COP26 President to express my concern at the UK refusing to recognise the right to a safe, clean, healthy and sustainable environment. This should be universally protected.
Labour will not win a majority again, not soon, probably not ever, because centre left parties keep splitting the vote.
Each future election going ahead without Labour backing PR means another Tory government.
Got a sneaky feeling that Labour prefers being in opposition.
